libcarp-clan-perl software package provides Perl enhancement to Carp error logging facilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcarp-clan-perl
libcarp-clan-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcarp-clan-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcarp-clan-perl *
You will get with libcarp-clan-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
